So far this season Adam's team is 2-0 (Atlanta Bucks 83-0 & High Country 35-3). This week is a home game against Maryville, TN and next week (March 7) they're playing the Atlanta Bucks in Bham (this is the last home game for a while).
Adam's knee is really doing well since the surgery and he's feeling better on the field. Luckily the final stage of this surgery is this fall (Oct. or Nov.) and I'll stop worrying so much about it, maybe.
It always amazes me after a game how many bruises he gets in such a short period of time and this past weekend is no exception. You can actually see the outlines of cleats, hand shaped bruises on his arms, there's a chunk of the side of his nose scrapped off and a raspberry on his back bigger than my hand. He's also so stiff the next day I have to rub him neck pretty much all day Sunday....but he loves it so I'll continue to rub his shoulders and neck and counting bruises.
