Thanksgiving...late blog

Thanksgiving this year was a little different. For the first time I had help with the cooking at home… Mom and I have always divided the cooking for the holidays but this year I has Adam. He went to the store and did s a lot of the shopping, he helped in the kitchen and helped me clean the house and bathed the boys. For the first time I had help and the overwhelming feeling of warmth, love, support…heck I’m not sure which or all or if all together it covers it really… he’s just wonderful.
Adam and I had my parents, Michael and Ashley and his Dad for lunch. We all ate too much Bay Leigh and Cam stole what turkey they could and did their best to convince whoever would listen that they were starving and totally ignored… spoiled little rascals!
All in all the day went smoothly, ending in a nap on the couch on Adam once my parents left and luckily I sent most of the leftovers home with family. So we didn’t get sick of turkey and all the fixings… I’m thankful …
For waiting to find the right man
For having a loving, supportive family
For friends that love, care for, put up with and have picked me up over the years
For sweet puppies
For a job close to home
For the new Scion though I miss the Montero terribly
For Adam turning my house into a home
For time off to relax after Christmas
And
I think God for all of these!
