Dog dumped...

I can't tell you how many emails, IMs, and phone calls I get that start off "A dog was dumped in my neighborhood" Being in rescue that means one of three things- one, they're keeping the dog but need help vetting; two- they'll keep a few days/weeks but want the rescue to help to vet and home for the dog; three- the dog must go now and if we don't come get it ASAP then it is shelter bound.
Unfortunately the rescue only has a limited number of foster homes so we can't help them all but we can send plea emails and posts on facebook for fosters, homes or a rescue that has space...
well we received an email about a small chi mix female being dumped on a family in Cullman last weekend, the woman was feeding her and making sure she had water and when she got home from work Wednesday night she had a surprise 4 puppies! So now we have a momma (Macy) and 4 pups (don't know sexes yet and haven't named them yet)
This pic isn't very flattering but she's panting, possible hot or nervous and you can see one of the pups.

stay tuned for updates and better pics!
