Adventures in the Brewer/Lindsey household

Friday night Jack attacked Maggie & I in the kitchen. Of course my initial reaction to a 10 lbs cat clawing over my shoulder and down my back was to go after him but in a fit of anger and pain I dropped Maggie- luckily on Bay Leigh's bed. While I was chasing Jack, Adam was making sure Maggie was OK and she's fine. However, since I flung Jack out the back door onto the porch he's now refusing to come inside.
Saturday Mom and I planted flowers and a trimmed hedges at her house and then mine (since Adam had to work and we missed the rugby game in ATL). While we were in the backyard I let Cesar and Maggie explore. Unfortunately, Maggie thinks these cute little bricked in areas with flowers in them are toilets so I'm having to watch her closely so she doesn't poop in the flower beds (I know I should be grateful she's going potty outside...). While outside Cesar discovered the hunter within and now attacks lint, imaginary bugs/critters and stalks Maggie all over the house and yard. Good news though he's finally realized he IS a cat and not an odd looking dog AND he's no longer attacking Adam's evil, smack talking black shoes.

Last night while Adam and I were relaxing in the hammock we let them all out back with us. Of course Cam and Bay Leigh were in the hammock with us as was Maggie for a few minutes at a time in between her puppy running fits around the hammock and being stalked and knocked over by Cesar. Adam and I laughed until it hurt and decided we just had to go in and fix dinner. It truly is amazing how entertaining our group are.

OH! the rugby team is undefeated, we're going to the quarter finals next month now!
