Robbery update

Tuesday night I took digital pictures of all the jewelry (Nanny's, Granddaddy's and mine) and so I know exactly what we DO have.
Last night Michael, Dad and I went to Nanny and Granddaddy's and changed the locks. While we were changing out everything I was asking dad what happened to their class rings (which are solid yellow gold, with Hewitt Trussville, the year they graduated and THEIR NAMES on them) and he tells me they we in this certain box... we found the box still at their house EMPTY. So I call our detective (who I speak to at least once a day now, more if I actually see him) and tell him. He says great, I know exactly where they are, I'll get them tomorrow....
One, I'm shocked the DUMB A$$ addicts would steal something that has mt grandparents' names on them.
Two, I'm surprised a pawn shop would take class rings from the late 30s and early 40s since they have no stones in them AND they have someone else's name on them!
Three, if the officer knows we're missing jewelry and knows the names of the 2 guys that were in the house wouldn't showing us all the jewelry that these 2 have pawned be helpful!? I think so! Anyway, so today after work and before my massage I have to go to ANOTHER pawn shop to identify and take custody of more jewelry.
This whole thing is frustrating and exhausting but worth every minute if these two have to rot in jail.
